The International Alliance of Academicians (IAA) and the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel (CAIEP) held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony on April 22, 2026 in Hong Kong. Witnessed by Professor Dong SUN, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry and members of the IAA Executive Committee, Professor Wenwei TU, Secretary-General of IAA, and Ms. Cheng WU, Deputy Director of CAIEP, officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

 

This strategic partnership signifies that both parties will fully leverage the international platform advantages of IAA to facilitate talent exchanges from Mainland China to Hong Kong, enhance two-way professional mobility, attract world-class talent and overseas academicians to Hong Kong, and deepen synergistic development between Mainland China and Hong Kong in the fields of talent, technology, and industry.

 

This collaboration will not only enhance Hong Kong’s global competitiveness and appeal in attracting talent but will also further strengthen its role as a strategic bridge connecting the Mainland with the international innovation and technology network, providing robust talent support for the nation’s reform, opening-up, and modernization efforts.
