IAA Executive Committee Member Professor Jun Yu Invited to Deliver Keynote Speech at the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Summit Forum 2026

Top-tier scientific and research forces recently gathered in Hong Kong! Jointly organized by the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation, co-organized by the Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre, and hosted in collaboration with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Summit Forum 2026, themed “Life Sciences and AI x Research,” successfully concluded on June 12 2026.
The International Alliance of Academicians (IAA) is profoundly honored that our Executive Committee Member, Professor Jun Yu, was invited to attend this prestigious grand event. She delivered an insightful keynote speech titled: “Securing Long-term Gastrointestinal Health: New Insights into Digestive Oncology Driven by the Gut Microbiome.”
An Introduction to Our Executive Committee Member: Professor Jun Yu
Professor Yu is an internationally renowned expert in digestive oncology and gut microbiome research. She currently serves as the Choh-Ming Li Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics, Assistant Dean (Mainland Affairs) of the Faculty of Medicine, and Director of the State Key Laboratory of Digestive Disease at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Professor Yu has long been dedicated to pioneering research in gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and fatty liver disease. Her outstanding achievements have not only earned her prestigious accolades, including the State Natural Science Award, but have also led to her election as a Member of the Academia Europaea and a Member of The Hong Kong Academy of Sciences. Within the Alliance, she remains actively devoted to promoting cross-border and interdisciplinary scientific collaborations.

頂尖科研力量日前齊聚香港！由何梁何利基金主辦、京港學術交流中心合辦及香港科技大學協辦的「2026年何梁何利基金高峰論壇」主題聚焦「生命科學、AI x 科研」，已於6月12日圓滿舉行。
我們非常榮幸，國際院士聯盟（IAA）的執委會成員——于君教授（Prof. Jun YU）也受邀出席了本次盛會，並為現場帶來了精彩的主旨演講：”腸”治久安：腸道微生態驅動消化腫瘤新認知。
🎓 認識我們的執委成員：于君教授
于教授是國際頂尖的消化道腫瘤與腸道微生態專家。她現任香港中文大學卓敏內科及藥物治療學講座教授、醫學院助理院長（內地事務）以及消化疾病國家重點實驗室主任。于教授長期深耕胃癌、結直腸癌及脂肪肝等前沿研究，不僅屢獲國家自然科學獎等重量級榮譽，更獲選為歐洲科學院院士及香港科學院院士。在聯盟中，她也一直熱心推動跨境與跨學科的科研合作。
何梁何利基金
由香港愛國金融實業家何善衡、梁銶琚、何添和利國偉先生於1994年共同捐資創立，是華人科學界享有極高聲譽的非政府公益性科技獎勵基金。基金以「崇尚科學、振興中華」為宗旨，每年評選一次，專門表彰在特定學科領域取得重大發明、發現或突出科技成就的傑出中國科學家。歷經三十年發展，它已成為我國社會力量設立科技獎項的傑出代表與指標。
本會成員與何梁何利基金有著深厚的學術淵源。本會創始主席、香港科技大學校長葉玉如教授曾於2008年榮膺「何梁何利基金科學與技術進步獎」；而執委會成員于君教授亦曾於2018年獲得同樣獎項。聯盟成員歷年來持續在國家級科技舞台上發揮核心影響力，並為全球醫療與科技進步做出實質性的卓越貢獻，本會對此深感自豪。
